Location: Situated adjacent to the Loisaba Wilderness’ 60,000 acre private wildlife conservancy, on the edge of the Laikipia plateau, on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river. Description: A unique and delightful concept of sleeping under the stars in extreme comfort and enjoying a truly cultural experience. The Koija Starbeds, constructed from eco friendly wood and thatch, are cantilevered over the flowing river and accessed by a footbridge from the opposite bank. Accommodation/Facilities: The word ‘unique’ is an understatement to describe the Koija accommodation facilities. One twin and two double platforms have four-poster beds that can be wheeled out onto the deck for a night under the stars. Each platform has an en-suite bathroom with a large camp-style shower.
