Location: Situated within the 62,000 acre Lewa Wildlife Conservancy on the northern slopes of Mt. Kenya. Lewa has a variety of exciting wildlife, including endangered black rhino and Gravy's zebra, and the big five, as well as 400 bird species, some rare, others abundant, all beautiful.
Description: Lewa House is a stunningly attractive residence set on top of a hill with an engaging panoramic view of rolling landscape, luggas and hills. On the horizon lies the Mathews Range and the sacred mountain of the Samburu, Ol Lolokwe.
Accommodation/Facilities: Lewa House can accommodate up to twelve people (on an exclusive basis) in three large cottages each with two rooms, bathrooms, and a private verandah. The property is rustic, with cooling `Sanje' (swamp grass) roofs, and has a traditional relaxed ambiance mixed with modern comfort. The main building has a lounge and dining area, opening up to a verandah with its own special vista across the plains of Northern Kenya, and Mount Kenya.
Hosted By: The Lewa House team. Visitors are accompanied by trained and experience local guides on game drives and walks.

Access: By daily schedule flight from Wilson Airport (Nairobi) to Lewa Downs, by private charter flight direct to the Lewa airstrip, or by road from either Nanyuki (1 hour) or Nairobi (over 3 hours).
